Hey Simmers...
We are finally back, after restoring one of our old back ups from November, the site is now back up and running again. For those of you who don't know, our site was completely wiped clean by our incompetant host, and we have had to use a back up from November, which we know is not ideal, but it will have to do!
Unfortunately as we have had to use an older back up, it means that:
* Member's who joined after 1st November will have to re-register as your accounts have completely gone
* Links might not work as they were linking to old parts of the site, which were non-recoverable! (if you find dead links, please report them to the administrator)
* Photogallery images have gone, all 2000+ of them, this will be a long process to get them back, but if you would like to contribute, please sign in and click the submit photo button at the bottom of the navigation panel (members only)
* Over 1000+ forum posts have gone and are non-recoverable, this is not a pressing issue but if you find your forum post has gone, just re-post it.
* Most BBcodes are currently not working, we are working to try and fix this issue A.S.A.P
* The Guestbook lost most of it's entries, if you would like to leave us a new guestbook message, please feel free to do so!
* Some parts of the site are still offline, this is because we are working behind the scenes restoring the content which was on them.
* Around 500 comments have been removed and are un-recoverable, again unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this but to apologise for any inconvenience caused!
* Around 100+ News items have gone, we are not going to recover the news items as it is now old news, but we will still be covering current stories!
I am sure there are things we have missed off this list but if you find any dead-links or parts of the site that are not working properly, please report it to the administrator, or e-mail us directly through our Contact page.
We are really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and are working hard to try and get the site back to it's former glory, thanks for your patience and we hope to have the site full functioning very shortly.
